About the Role: As a Consultant Nephrology at Alchemist Hospital, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating kidney disorders, ensuring optimal patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat kidney disorders, including glomerulonephritis, kidney infections, and renal failure. - Manage dialysis patients, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, and provide pre- and post-transplant care. - Perform procedures such as kidney biopsies and placement of dialysis catheters. - Work closely with urologists, transplant surgeons, and critical care specialists for integrated patient management. - Monitor and adjust medications for conditions such as hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, and metabolic disorders. - Educate patients and their families about kidney disease management, lifestyle changes, and dietary modifications. - Stay updated on advancements in nephrology, including new dialysis techniques and transplant protocols.
