About the Role: As a Senior Resident in General Surgery, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive surgical care and managing patients effectively.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide surgical care, including diagnosis, preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative management. - Assist in and perform general surgical procedures such as appendectomy, hernia repair, and cholecystectomy. - Handle emergency surgical cases, including trauma, perforations, and acute abdomen conditions. - Monitor and manage post-surgical patients in wards and ICU settings. - Supervise and mentor junior residents, medical interns, and nursing staff. - Collaborate with anesthesiologists, radiologists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary care. - Maintain accurate patient records, including operative notes and treatment plans. - Participate in outpatient clinics, minor procedures, and follow-up care. - Engage in academic activities, case presentations, and clinical research.
