About the Role: As a Consultant in General Surgery, you will play a crucial role in evaluating patients and performing essential surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Evaluate patients and diagnose surgical conditions through clinical assessments and diagnostic tests. - Perform general surgical procedures, including appendectomy, hernia repair, cholecystectomy, and gastrointestinal surgeries. - Manage preoperative and postoperative care, including patient counseling and follow-ups. - Respond to emergency cases such as trauma, perforated ulcers, and internal bleeding. - Collaborate with anesthetists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. - Ensure adherence to surgical protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital guidelines. - Stay updated on advancements in surgical techniques and minimally invasive procedures.
