About the Role: As a Consultant Neurosurgeon, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating complex neurological conditions, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat neurological conditions, including brain tumors, stroke, spinal cord injuries, and nerve disorders. - Perform neurosurgical procedures such as craniotomy, spinal fusion, laminectomy, and tumor excision. - Manage preoperative and postoperative care, ensuring patient recovery and rehabilitation. - Use advanced imaging techniques (MRI, CT scans) for surgical planning and diagnosis. - Collaborate with neurologists, anesthetists, physiotherapists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care. - Stay updated on advancements in minimally invasive neurosurgery, robotics, and neuro-navigation techniques. - Educate patients and families on treatment options, risks, and post-surgical recovery.
