About the Role: As a Consultant in Medical Oncology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and developing personalized treatment plans for patients with various types of cancer.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with various types of cancer. - Administer and monitor chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy. - Collaborate with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists for integrated cancer care. - Interpret diagnostic tests, including PET scans, CT scans, MRIs, and biopsies. - Educate patients and families about treatment options, side effects, and prognosis. - Manage side effects and complications of cancer treatments, ensuring optimal patient well-being. - Participate in cancer screening, prevention, and awareness programs. - Stay updated with advancements in oncology research and clinical trials.
