About the Role: As a Consultant in Medical Oncology, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating cancer patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment for cancer patients, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' medical history and cancer type. - Provide ongoing monitoring and adjustment of treatment plans based on patient response. - Coordinate care with other specialists to ensure comprehensive cancer care. - Educate patients and their families about the disease, treatment options, and possible side effects. - Manage and treat side effects of cancer treatments to improve quality of life. - Interpret laboratory results and diagnostic tests to guide treatment decisions.
