About the Role: As a Sr. Resident in Critical Care, you will play a vital role in managing critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring timely diagnosis and treatment.
What You'll Be Doing: - Manage critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring timely diagnosis and treatment. - Perform and supervise life-saving procedures such as intubation, ventilator management, central line insertion, and arterial catheterization. - Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and manage acute conditions like sepsis, organ failure, and trauma. - Collaborate with consultants, nurses, anesthetists, and paramedical staff to provide comprehensive patient care. - Interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work, imaging, and cardiac monitoring. - Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control measures, and ethical medical practices. - Assist in emergency resuscitations, including Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and trauma management.
