About the Role: As an Onco Breast Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in the treatment of breast cancer, providing expert surgical care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform surgical procedures for breast cancer, including lumpectomies, mastectomies, sentinel lymph node biopsies, and axillary dissections. - Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists to develop personalized treatment plans. - Conduct pre-operative evaluations, including imaging and biopsy reviews, to determine the best surgical approach. - Offer breast-conserving and reconstructive surgery options in coordination with plastic surgeons. - Guide patients through surgical and post-operative recovery, ensuring optimal healing and aesthetic outcomes. - Stay updated on advancements in oncoplastic surgery, minimally invasive techniques, and emerging breast cancer treatments.
