About the Role: As a Consultant Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing diseases and conditions through the examination of biological specimens.
What You'll Be Doing: - Examine and diagnose tissue samples, blood, and other biological specimens to identify diseases, conditions, and disorders. - Interpret lab results, prepare reports, and provide accurate diagnoses to physicians and other healthcare professionals. - Review and discuss test results with patients’ medical teams to assist in creating treatment plans. - Participate in patient care rounds and multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex cases and treatment options. - Supervise laboratory staff to ensure proper collection, preparation, and analysis of specimens. - Maintain high standards of accuracy in all laboratory diagnostic tests and reports. - Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure effective diagnosis and patient care.
