About the Role: As a Consultant in Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions including coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and congenital heart defects. - Perform and interpret cardiac investigations such as ECG, stress tests, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, cardiac MRI, and CT angiography. - Conduct interventional procedures including angioplasty, stenting, pacemaker implantation, or electrophysiological studies. - Provide emergency cardiac care for myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndrome, and cardiac arrest. - Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons for surgical cases requiring bypass surgery or valve replacements. - Counsel patients and their families regarding disease conditions, treatment plans, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
