Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Senior Resident in the Liver ICU, you will play a crucial role in managing critically ill patients with liver-related conditions.
How You'll Contribute: - Manage critically ill patients with liver-related conditions in the ICU. - Monitor patients with acute liver failure, cirrhosis, and post-transplant care. - Perform procedures like central lines, ABG interpretation, and ventilator management. - Supervise junior residents and coordinate with ICU nursing staff. - Collaborate with hepatologists, gastroenterologists, and transplant teams. - Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on liver function and clinical status. - Ensure accurate documentation and daily progress updates. - Respond to emergencies including hepatic encephalopathy and GI bleeds. - Communicate with families regarding prognosis, interventions, and care plans.
