About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Pediatrics, you will play a crucial role in managing the health and well-being of children in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
What You'll Be Doing: - Manage inpatient, outpatient, and emergency pediatric cases. - Monitor growth, development, and immunization status of children. - Supervise junior residents, interns, and nursing staff in pediatric care. - Handle neonatal and pediatric emergencies including resuscitation. - Perform and assist in procedures such as lumbar puncture and IV cannulation. - Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams. - Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation. - Counsel parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition, and care plans. - Participate in academic rounds, teaching sessions, and case discussions. - Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and infection control practices.
