About the Role: As a Junior Consultant in Critical Care, you will play a vital role in managing critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and well-being in the ICU and emergency settings.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assist in managing critically ill patients in the ICU and emergency settings. - Monitor vital signs and interpret clinical data to make timely decisions. - Support senior consultants in developing and implementing treatment plans. - Administer advanced life support and manage ventilators and other critical equipment. - Coordinate multidisciplinary care with specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals. - Respond promptly to medical emergencies and acute deteriorations. - Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and progress notes. - Participate in daily ICU rounds, case discussions, and handovers. - Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
