About the Role: As a Consultant CTVs, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating complex cardiothoracic and vascular conditions requiring surgical intervention.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat complex cardiothoracic and vascular conditions requiring surgical intervention. - Perform advanced procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, aortic surgeries, and lung resections. - Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthetists, and intensivists for comprehensive patient care. - Conduct preoperative assessments, plan surgical procedures, and manage postoperative care. - Ensure adherence to medical protocols, surgical standards, and patient safety guidelines. - Supervise and mentor junior doctors, surgeons, and medical staff in CTVS procedures. - Participate in research, case discussions, and continuous medical education programs. - Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to hospital quality improvement initiatives. - Stay updated with advancements in cardiothoracic surgery techniques and technologies. - Provide emergency and on-call support for critical cardiac and thoracic cases.
