About the Role: As a Consultant Cardiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmias. - Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as ECG, echocardiography, stress tests, and angiograms. - Develop individualized treatment plans, including lifestyle modifications, medications, and interventional procedures. - Conduct interventional cardiology procedures like angioplasty, stent placement, or pacemaker implantation (if applicable). - Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. - Provide guidance on preventive cardiology and educate patients on heart health. - Participate in hospital rounds, case discussions, and medical research as required. - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical protocols and ethical guidelines. - Stay updated with advancements in cardiology and participate in continued medical education programs.
