About the Role: As an ICU Registrar, you will play a crucial role in the care of critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct initial and ongoing assessment of critically ill patients. - Monitor vital signs, neurological status, and hemodynamic parameters. - Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic investigations. - Manage ventilators, oxygen therapy, and advanced life support measures. - Perform endotracheal intubation, central line insertion, and arterial line placement. - Assist in the management of cardiac arrests, sepsis, multi-organ failure, and trauma cases. - Administer IV fluids, blood products, and vasoactive medications as required. - Work closely with ICU consultants, anesthetists, surgeons, and other specialists. - Communicate patient progress with nurses, physiotherapists, dietitians, and infection control teams.
