Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Gastroenterologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal disorders, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
How You'll Contribute: - Evaluate patients through medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests. - Diagnose and manage conditions such as acid reflux, ulcers, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and pancreatic disorders. - Prescribe medications, lifestyle modifications, and therapeutic interventions for GI disorders. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. - Perform endoscopic procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and EUS. - Conduct liver function tests, imaging studies, and biopsies to assess GI and hepatic conditions. - Assist in minimally invasive procedures, such as polyp removal and stent placement. - Educate patients on digestive health, dietary recommendations, and preventive measures. - Provide counseling on chronic conditions such as Crohn’s disease, hepatitis, and celiac disease.
