About the Role: As a Neonatologist, you will provide specialized medical care for newborns, particularly those who are premature or critically ill.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat neonatal conditions, including respiratory distress, infections, and congenital disorders. - Monitor and manage newborns in neonatal intensive care units (NICU). - Perform procedures such as intubation, resuscitation, and umbilical catheterization. - Collaborate with pediatricians, obstetricians, and other healthcare professionals. - Educate and counsel parents on newborn care, feeding, and developmental concerns. - Ensure proper use of ventilators, incubators, and other neonatal medical equipment. - Maintain detailed medical records and treatment plans for neonates. - Provide follow-up care to monitor the growth and development of high-risk infants.
