About the Role: As a Palliative Care Specialist, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with life-limiting or terminal illnesses, ensuring their comfort and quality of life.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assess and manage pain, symptoms, and emotional distress effectively. - Develop individualized care plans focused on comfort and quality of life. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and counselors. - Offer psychological and spiritual support to patients and their families. - Communicate clearly about prognosis, goals of care, and treatment options. - Coordinate home-based, hospice, or inpatient palliative services as needed.
