About the Role: As an Attending Consultant in Neuro Anesthesia, you will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia care for neurosurgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort during complex operations.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical procedures (brain, spine, trauma, etc.). - Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop neuro-specific anesthesia plans. - Administer and monitor anesthesia during complex neurosurgical operations. - Use neuro-monitoring techniques such as BIS, SSEP, and MEP where applicable. - Manage perioperative care and ensure smooth recovery from anesthesia. - Respond to intraoperative and postoperative complications and emergencies. - Maintain precise documentation of anesthesia care and patient vitals. - Collaborate closely with neurosurgeons, intensivists, and OR teams.
