About the Role: As an Associate Consultant in Anesthesia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assist in pre-operative evaluation and anesthetic planning for surgical patients. - Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or local) during surgical and diagnostic procedures. - Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia depth throughout procedures. - Manage perioperative care including pain control and post-anesthesia recovery. - Respond to anesthesia-related emergencies and complications. - Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and drug usage. - Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and nursing staff for patient care. - Supervise residents and junior doctors during procedures and rounds. - Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols.
