About the Role: This fellowship offers a unique opportunity to engage in the evaluation, management, and surgical care of patients requiring urologic and renal transplantation.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assist in the evaluation, management, and surgical care of patients requiring urologic and renal transplantation. - Participate in kidney transplant surgeries, donor nephrectomies, and urologic procedures. - Manage pre-operative and post-operative care of transplant recipients and donors. - Conduct rounds, monitor graft function, and address transplant-related complications. - Collaborate with nephrologists, transplant coordinators, and immunology teams. - Perform and interpret diagnostic studies including renal ultrasounds, biopsies, and urodynamics. - Maintain thorough documentation of patient care, surgical outcomes, and follow-ups. - Engage in academic activities, research, and case presentations. - Adhere to transplant protocols, ethical standards, and organ allocation policies.
