Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and surgically treating congenital and acquired heart defects in children. Your expertise will directly impact the lives of neonates, infants, and adolescents, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.
How You'll Contribute: - Diagnose and surgically treat congenital and acquired heart defects in neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. - Perform complex cardiac procedures including ASD/VSD closures, TOF repair, arterial switch, and valve reconstructions. - Collaborate closely with pediatric cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and perfusionists for multidisciplinary care. - Conduct pre-operative assessments and provide post-operative management in the pediatric cardiac ICU. - Monitor surgical outcomes, manage complications, and ensure optimal recovery of pediatric patients. - Maintain precise documentation of operative procedures, outcomes, and follow-up plans.
