About the Role: As an Associate Consultant in Anesthesia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assist in administering anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and emergency procedures. - Evaluate patients pre-operatively and contribute to anesthesia planning. - Monitor patient vitals and anesthesia depth during procedures. - Provide post-operative care, including pain management and recovery monitoring. - Support senior consultants in high-risk and complex anesthesia cases. - Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and infection control standards. - Maintain accurate and detailed anesthesia records for each case. - Participate in ICU rounds and respond to code blue situations as needed. - Engage in academic discussions, training sessions, and departmental meetings.
