About the Role: As an Associate Consultant in Neurology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing neurological disorders, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assist in diagnosing and managing neurological disorders such as stroke, epilepsy, and neuropathies. - Conduct neurological examinations and interpret diagnostic tests like EEG, EMG, and MRI. - Support in developing individualized treatment plans for patients. - Provide care during inpatient rounds and manage neurology patients in OPD. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. - Attend neurology emergencies and participate in on-call duties. - Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and case histories. - Counsel patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and prognosis. - Engage in academic sessions, research, and CMEs within the department.
