About the Role: As an ICU Duty Doctor, you will play a crucial role in providing round-the-clock medical care and monitoring for critically ill patients in the ICU.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide continuous medical care and monitoring for critically ill patients in the ICU. - Perform initial assessments, daily rounds, and timely interventions under intensivist supervision. - Manage ventilators, infusions, and emergency protocols like Code Blue or ACLS. - Document clinical notes, prescriptions, progress reports, and vital parameters accurately. - Respond promptly to any clinical deterioration and escalate to the consultant when needed. - Perform or assist with procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and arterial cannulation. - Coordinate with nurses, respiratory therapists, and other ICU team members. - Ensure strict adherence to infection control practices and ICU safety standards.
