About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Neuro Anesthesia, you will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia care for neurosurgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assist in administering anesthesia for neurosurgical procedures, including elective and emergency cases. - Monitor patients intraoperatively using advanced neuro-monitoring techniques (e.g., BIS, ICP, evoked potentials). - Manage pre-operative evaluation, risk assessment, and optimization of neurosurgical patients. - Provide post-operative care in the Neuro ICU and manage anesthesia-related complications. - Maintain detailed documentation of anesthesia plans, intraoperative events, and recovery progress. - Participate in multidisciplinary neurosurgical team discussions and planning. - Train and supervise junior residents and anesthesia technicians. - Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety norms.
