About the Role: As an Attending Consultant in Internal Medicine, you will provide expert medical care to adult patients, managing both acute and chronic conditions.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide expert medical care for adult patients with acute and chronic internal medicine conditions. - Perform patient evaluations, order diagnostics, interpret results, and develop treatment plans. - Manage inpatient, outpatient, and emergency medical cases with clinical autonomy. - Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and interns in the department. - Coordinate with specialty departments for comprehensive patient care and referrals. - Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical notes, prescriptions, and discharge summaries. - Participate in clinical audits, morbidity/mortality meetings, and departmental reviews. - Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
