About the Role: As an Associate Consultant in Pediatric Surgery, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing surgical conditions in neonates, infants, and children.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assist in diagnosing and managing surgical conditions in neonates, infants, and children. - Perform and support pediatric surgical procedures under the supervision of senior consultants. - Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments and care. - Coordinate with pediatricians and anesthesiologists for comprehensive patient management. - Ensure accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient progress. - Participate in surgical ward rounds, OPD clinics, and emergency calls. - Counsel parents/guardians regarding surgical procedures, risks, and outcomes. - Maintain high standards of infection control and patient safety. - Involve in academic activities, research, and case discussions.
