About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Medical Oncology, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients, contributing to their care and recovery.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assist in the diagnosis, staging, and treatment planning for cancer patients. - Participate in the administration and monitoring of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies. - Manage oncology emergencies and inpatient care under consultant supervision. - Monitor and manage treatment-related toxicities and complications. - Maintain detailed patient records, progress notes, and treatment summaries. - Collaborate with surgical, radiation, and palliative care teams for integrated cancer care. - Engage in academic activities including seminars, journal clubs, and case presentations. - Supervise and train interns and junior residents in oncology practices. - Follow hospital protocols, infection control guidelines, and patient safety norms.
