About the Role: As a Histopathologist at Kailash Hospital, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing diseases through the examination of tissue samples, contributing significantly to patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Examine tissue samples under a microscope to diagnose diseases, including cancers and inflammatory conditions. - Perform grossing, processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining of biopsy and surgical specimens. - Interpret histological findings and issue accurate pathology reports to guide clinical management. - Correlate microscopic findings with clinical, radiological, and laboratory data. - Supervise laboratory technicians and ensure quality control in sample processing. - Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, and other clinicians for multidisciplinary case discussions. - Participate in intraoperative consultations and frozen section evaluations when needed. - Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely reporting in accordance with hospital standards.
