About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, ultrasound, CT, and MRI under consultant supervision. - Assist in image-guided procedures such as FNAC, biopsies, and drainage. - Ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging findings to referring clinicians. - Supervise and guide radiology technicians in protocol adherence and image acquisition. - Maintain proper documentation, PACS records, and report turnaround times. - Participate in departmental academic sessions, case discussions, and journal clubs. - Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols in the imaging suite. - Collaborate with clinicians across departments for multi-disciplinary diagnosis and treatment planning. - Assist in emergency and portable radiological imaging, especially during night duties.
