Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Sr. Resident in the CCU, you will provide critical medical care to patients with acute cardiac conditions, ensuring their health and safety during emergencies.
How You'll Contribute: - Provide continuous medical care to patients admitted with acute cardiac conditions in the CCU. - Manage cardiac emergencies such as myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, cardiogenic shock, and heart failure. - Monitor and interpret ECGs, cardiac enzymes, echocardiograms, and hemodynamic parameters. - Perform procedures such as defibrillation, central line placement, arterial line insertion, and temporary pacemaker insertion. - Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other specialists to ensure timely and effective treatment. - Respond to Code Blue situations and actively participate in resuscitation efforts. - Document patient progress, treatment modifications, and diagnostic interpretations accurately. - Supervise interns and junior residents, providing clinical guidance and support.
