About the Role: As a Hematologist at Kailash Hospital, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing blood-related disorders, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and manage blood-related disorders such as anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and clotting or bleeding disorders. - Interpret laboratory tests including CBC, bone marrow biopsy, peripheral smear, coagulation profiles, and genetic markers. - Develop individualized treatment plans involving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, transfusions, and supportive care. - Collaborate with oncologists, pathologists, and transfusion medicine specialists for comprehensive patient care. - Monitor patients for treatment responses and manage complications such as infections or cytopenias. - Supervise bone marrow aspirations, biopsies, and transfusion protocols. - Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy options.
