Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and surgically correcting congenital and acquired heart defects in neonates, infants, and children.
How You'll Contribute: - Diagnose and surgically correct congenital and acquired heart defects in neonates, infants, and children. - Perform complex cardiac surgeries such as ASD/VSD closures, TOF repair, arterial switch, and valve reconstructions. - Conduct thorough pre-operative evaluations using echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, and imaging studies. - Provide post-operative management in collaboration with pediatric intensivists and cardiac anesthesiologists. - Ensure meticulous intraoperative care with focus on precision and minimal complication risk. - Counsel families regarding surgical procedures, risks, outcomes, and long-term care needs. - Work closely with pediatric cardiologists, perfusionists, and ICU teams for multidisciplinary care. - Maintain detailed operative records, patient progress notes, and follow-up documentation.
