Your Core Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide surgical treatment plans for oncology patients. - Perform complex oncological surgeries with precision and patient safety as top priorities. - Collaborate with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists in a multidisciplinary tumor board approach. - Provide preoperative and postoperative care, including management of complications. - Counsel patients and families regarding treatment options, outcomes, and long-term prognosis. - Supervise junior doctors, fellows, and residents in surgical oncology procedures and training. - Contribute to clinical research, new surgical techniques, and evidence-based oncology practices. - Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, quality, and safety standards.
