About the Role: As an Attending Consultant in General Surgery, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality surgical care to patients. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and enhance the overall healthcare experience.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients requiring general surgical care. - Perform elective and emergency surgical procedures with precision and adherence to protocols. - Provide pre-operative counseling, surgical planning, and informed consent to patients and families. - Ensure appropriate post-operative care, including monitoring, follow-up, and complication management. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (anesthesiology, nursing, critical care, etc.) for comprehensive patient care. - Maintain accurate medical records, operative notes, and discharge summaries. - Supervise and guide junior doctors, residents, and medical staff in patient management.
