About the Role: As an Associate Consultant in Critical Care, you will play a vital role in managing critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring high standards of care and safety.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assist in the management of critically ill patients in the ICU under the guidance of the Attending Consultant. - Perform and oversee procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and ventilator adjustments. - Monitor patients’ vital signs, lab results, and clinical progress to guide treatment decisions. - Respond promptly to emergencies, including code blue situations and rapid response calls. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive critical care management. - Ensure accurate documentation of all procedures, interventions, and care plans. - Supervise junior residents, fellows, and nursing staff during ICU rounds and procedures. - Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
