About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and committed General Surgeon (MS General Surgery) to join our clinical team, proficient in diagnosing and surgically treating a wide range of conditions.
What You'll Be Doing: - Evaluate and manage patients presenting with general surgical conditions in OPD/IPD. - Perform routine and emergency surgeries including appendectomy, hernia repairs, and more. - Post-operative patient care including follow-up management. - Handle trauma and emergency surgical cases as per roster/on-call schedule. - Refer complex or super specialty cases appropriately. - Maintain thorough and accurate surgical notes and discharge summaries. - Coordinate with anesthetists, physicians, and ICU teams for peri-operative care. - Supervise and train junior doctors, surgical assistants, and nursing staff. - Participate in audit, CME, and quality improvement initiatives.
Our Ideal Candidate Has: - MS / DNB in General Surgery (MCI/NMC recognized). - Valid Medical Registration (State or National). - Experience with both open and laparoscopic procedures preferred. - Strong surgical judgment and procedural skills. - Emergency decision-making and crisis management skills. - Good communication with patients and surgical team. - Proficiency with laparoscopic techniques is a plus. - Familiarity with medico-legal documentation.
