About the Role: As a Gastroenterology Consultant, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal disorders, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and bowel disorders. - Perform endoscopic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP. - Evaluate patient symptoms and medical history to develop treatment plans. - Monitor and manage chronic GI conditions like IBD, hepatitis, and GERD. - Collaborate with dietitians, surgeons, and other specialists for comprehensive care. - Interpret diagnostic tests including liver function tests, imaging, and biopsies. - Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, medications, and preventive care. - Maintain detailed medical records and follow-up documentation. - Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical trainees.
