About the Role: As an Attending Consultant in Pediatric Intensive Care, you will play a crucial role in managing critically ill pediatric patients and leading a dedicated team to provide exceptional care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Manage critically ill pediatric patients in the Intensive Care Unit (PICU). - Lead the PICU team in stabilizing and treating patients with life-threatening conditions. - Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and mechanical ventilation. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response. - Coordinate with pediatric subspecialists, surgeons, and other departments for integrated care. - Supervise and train residents, junior doctors, and nursing staff. - Ensure accurate documentation of diagnoses, procedures, and treatment outcomes. - Participate in family counseling, providing updates and care planning.
