About the Role: As a Consultant/Associate Consultant in Nuclear Medicine, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and monitoring diseases through advanced imaging techniques.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform and interpret nuclear imaging studies such as PET-CT, SPECT, and thyroid scans. - Administer radiopharmaceuticals and ensure proper radiation safety protocols. - Diagnose and monitor diseases including cancer, cardiac, and thyroid disorders using molecular imaging. - Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists for integrated patient care. - Supervise imaging procedures and ensure accurate acquisition of diagnostic data. - Manage therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures (e.g., I-131 therapy, radionuclide therapy). - Maintain accurate patient records, scan reports, and documentation. - Train and guide junior doctors, technologists, and support staff. - Ensure compliance with AERB and hospital safety regulations.
