Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Liver Transplant ICU Consultant, you will play a crucial role in managing critical care for patients undergoing liver transplantation.
How You'll Contribute: - Provide critical care management to patients before and after liver transplantation. - Monitor and stabilize vital functions, including respiratory, cardiovascular, and renal parameters. - Manage immunosuppressive therapy, infections, and graft function post-transplant. - Collaborate with transplant surgeons, hepatologists, and anaesthesia teams for coordinated care. - Perform and oversee procedures like intubation, central line insertion, and dialysis. - Lead daily ICU rounds and develop individualized care plans. - Respond promptly to complications such as sepsis, rejection, or multi-organ failure. - Supervise ICU staff, junior doctors, and ensure adherence to transplant ICU protocols.
