About the Role: As an Associate Consultant in Nuclear Medicine, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients through advanced imaging techniques.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assist in performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures such as PET-CT, SPECT, and bone scans. - Interpret nuclear imaging results and prepare preliminary reports under consultant supervision. - Oversee administration of radiopharmaceuticals ensuring patient safety and comfort. - Monitor patients during and after procedures for any adverse reactions. - Ensure adherence to radiation safety guidelines and regulatory compliance. - Collaborate with consultants, radiologists, and clinicians for integrated reporting and care. - Support quality control checks and calibration of nuclear medicine equipment.
