About the Role: As an Associate Consultant/Consultant in Medical Oncology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing cancer patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and manage cancer patients through chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy. - Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluation and diagnostic findings. - Monitor patient response to treatment and manage associated side effects. - Collaborate with surgical, radiation, and palliative care teams for comprehensive cancer care. - Participate in tumor board meetings and multidisciplinary case discussions. - Counsel patients and families on diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options. - Supervise junior doctors, fellows, and nursing staff in oncology care. - Maintain accurate medical records and documentation as per hospital protocols. - Participate in clinical research, audits, and continuing medical education (CME).
