About the Role: As an Attending Consultant/Associate Consultant in Critical Care, you will play a vital role in managing critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring high standards of care and treatment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage critically ill patients in the ICU, including medical, surgical, and trauma cases.
- Perform and oversee advanced life support procedures such as intubation, ventilation, and central line insertion.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical response.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient management.
- Supervise and train residents, fellows, and ICU nursing staff.
- Ensure proper documentation of clinical notes, orders, and progress reports.
- Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and critical care protocols.
- Participate in ICU rounds, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
