About the Role: As a Senior Resident in General Surgery, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality surgical care to patients. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and contribute to the overall success of our surgical team.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assist in performing elective and emergency surgical procedures. - Conduct pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care for surgical patients. - Manage surgical wards, including daily rounds and patient monitoring. - Handle emergency surgical cases independently or under consultant supervision. - Perform minor surgical procedures and assist in major surgeries. - Maintain accurate surgical records, operative notes, and discharge summaries. - Coordinate with anesthesiology, radiology, and other departments for patient care. - Supervise and mentor junior residents, interns, and medical students. - Participate in academic sessions, surgical audits, and case presentations.
