About the Role: As a Consultant in Neurology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing patients with various neurological disorders, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and manage patients with neurological disorders such as stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and neuropathies. - Perform and interpret neurological tests such as EEG, NCV, EMG, and brain imaging reports (CT/MRI). - Manage acute neurological emergencies, including status epilepticus, stroke, and CNS infections. - Monitor patients with chronic neurological conditions through regular follow-up and medication adjustments. - Collaborate with neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, and rehabilitation teams for holistic patient care. - Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure continuity of care. - Conduct thorough neurological examinations and develop individualized treatment plans. - Educate patients and families about diagnoses, prognosis, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications. - Offer counseling on stroke prevention, seizure control, and neurodegenerative conditions.
