About the Role: As a Pediatric Respiratory Medicine Consultant, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing respiratory disorders in children, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and manage respiratory disorders in children such as asthma, pneumonia, bronchitis, and cystic fibrosis. - Perform and interpret pediatric pulmonary function tests and sleep studies. - Provide care for both acute and chronic respiratory conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings. - Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans for pediatric respiratory patients. - Manage respiratory emergencies including severe asthma and respiratory failure. - Collaborate with pediatricians, intensivists, and allied health professionals for holistic care. - Educate families on disease management, medication use, and preventive strategies. - Supervise and mentor junior doctors and pediatric residents.
