About the Role: As a Senior Resident in General Surgery, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to surgical patients and contributing to the education of future medical professionals.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to surgical patients. - Assist in teaching and training undergraduate and postgraduate students in General Surgery. - Perform and assist in surgical procedures under supervision. - Participate in daily ward rounds, OPD services, and emergency surgical duties. - Guide interns and junior residents in clinical assessment and basic surgical skills. - Contribute to departmental academic activities such as seminars and journal clubs. - Assist in surgical audits, case presentations, and research projects. - Maintain accurate surgical records, operative notes, and discharge summaries. - Attend CMEs, surgical workshops, and training programs.
